Jan is a sweetheart and the breakfast was excellent. The biscuits and gravyand the cream chipped beef will stick to your ribs and get you fixed right up. Great homemade cooking.

What a pleasant little restaurant. I don’t see how they serve on Super busy days. But the waitress and staff just hop around and enjoys her customers with kind 😄smiles. And in several observations: I see the customers wait patiently as the restaurant serves the enormous crowds whom doesn’t mind the wait for their 🍽 🥓🥞food. Good food and definitely worth the wait...Now that 🗣 speaks for itself. 👏👏👏😊Get there before 1 p.m.

Good food and good friendly service. The only place in Ocala area that serves scrapple for breakfast. I'm from PA and I really miss some foods from up north. IF you like scrapple go here, you won't be disappointed. They are very nice people too.

Absolutely the BEST little "home style" and "homey feeling " restaurant in our little town. Sweetest owners, amazing food and breakfast (not to mention Mrs. Jan makes AMAZING from scratch desserts...) Such a welcoming feeling we always get to our family when we arrive. Great people. Food is very good and reasonable. Terry the owner is one of the most friendly people you will ever meet.

I prefer the small diners to the franchise establishments. This little place is tucked in on the east side of the Oklawaha River bridge on State Road 40 next to a great candy store, beside a rather large campground. Don't pass it by, or you'll miss a little gem of good food and personal service. While in the area, just a few miles west is Silver Springs State Park; still only 2 bucks for a Great walkabout. Welcome, friends, to the edge of the Ocala National Forest.

Wonderful cozy little restaurant. The two sisters that work there are the sweetest, nicest ladies. They make you feel very welcome. I brought a fruend with me today who enjoyed the experience as much as myself

We loved the food and the atmosphere at this Cafe. We just happened upon it on our way to Cedar Key... the food and friendliness was so great we had to stop again on our way home. Highly recommended to stop here and eat!!

Much ado about nothing. Waitress was friendly with obvious frequent visitors, but cold to this first time single guy. The only partial smile I received was when she asked if I was finished. No check handed out before going to the register to pay. I left a nice tip of 20%+, and there was still not even a grin. The biscuits and gravy, full order, was generous, but a bit salty for my taste.

Tucked away in an RV park within the Ocala National Forest. Small and homey with very good food. Only objection is the prices are a bit high for the area, but not so high that I wouldn't return.

We have enjoyed every meal we have eaten there.

Super super friendly. Terry the waitress made me so comfortable I felt like I was visiting a family member. The food is Real Home made. So delicious. Proportions are huge and prices are great. A MUST STOP if you are any where near the area. BE Hungry😊😊

Thank you Jan! We found this restaurant by pure happenstance and were skeptical. I ordered the homemade Italian Sausage sandwich and was so pleased that I’m in my car resetting passwords and messing with my phone just to leave a review. That was THE BEST ITALIAN SAUSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD!! My husband had the open face brisket and he was delighted. The service and hospitality were exceptional and the food was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I can’t wait to come back! Thank you for an amazing lunch after a long morning of kayaking!

My breakfast was great and only 5.00! Big glass of sweet tea that was sweetened just right. Jan was a very good waitress. I will be back to try lunch soon.

I love miss jan's cafe. She is so friendly and welcoming. She treats you like family. The food is great home cooking. Its like grandma made it. I really recommend anyone to stop in there and try her stuff. The breakfast is to die for.

You better come hungry! Wonderful variety of choices. Often fresh veggies, fabulous breakfast or lunches. Great salads, soups, subs, sandwiches. And daily options of FULL HOMEMADE MEALS, like Lasagna, Spaghetti, Meatloaf, Stuffed Pork Chops, Pulled Pork chops... The list goes on ... They make you feel like family. Love them!
